WE NEED YOU!
The great Forty Eight Hours at Sebring is almost upon us. The dates are February 5,6,7, and 8. This is the biggest and greatest Club Race in PCA history! With over 300 Porsches in attendance, you will view these magnificent machines in beautiful colors. They come from all over the USA and all of them look forward to the first race of the year.
In order to run these great races, we need volunteer workers to assist the Suncoast & Goldcoast Regions. When you arrive, the entire infield is jam filled with these exotic cars. You are free to mingle among them and also visit the many vendors on display.
Now listen up! When you sign up you are entitled to a free commemorative T-shirt, and also lunch. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.

Porsche Autocrossers Rally to Win 2008 Porsche-BMW Challenge
Suncoast Region Porsche drivers turned out in force, and turned on the speed to win the 2008 Porsche-BMW Challenge Autocross at the Zephyrhills Airport on December 7. Danny Shields (43.558), Tod Byram (45.697) and Sharron Shields (46.729) had the top three times overall, all driving Sharron’s blue Boxster S. Competition Chairman Ralph Carr (47.654) brought his black Boxster S home fourth overall. Behind Carr was the top BMW of Penny Estrada (48.123), followed by PCA’s Rick Meyer (48.89) in his 911. Barry Miller (49.435) and Carl Wagenfohr (49.827) rounded out the top three BMWs.

I know that it is early to be talking about the greatest club race in PCA history. However, it is time to be thinking about the many people that will be needed to keep the great tradition going forward.
For instance, let me list the positions that require your help. Those positions are Timing & scoring, Help Information center, volunteer workers tent, Grid, Tech, Corner workers, Registration, and sign setup. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Our volunteer program will need over one hundred volunteers, all of which are the heartbeat of this great race program. It is the tradition that all volunteers will receive a free lunch & t-shirt. In addition, you will be present to witness the 300 plus beautiful Porsches from all over the USA.
It is a colorful spectacle that includes the excitement of seeing rip snorting full-blown racing.
