The great 48 Hours at Sebring is almost here! Come and join us for the greatest spectacle of Club racing in PCA. When you enter the guard gate and sign a waiver, you go over the bridge, and before you will be a host of tractor trailers and the most beautiful view of Porsches in all their glory. Saturday and Sunday (6th & 7th) will the best time to come because there will be many races to watch. I promise you the weather will be beautiful, so bring your walking shoes and walk amongst these great cars. You can bet I'll be there.

So you go to the Autocross registration table and they ask you what class you are running in. You are tempted to say that you only go 1st class, but are considering just giving them a dumb look instead. Neither one really helps the people working registration.

S - Showroom Stock:
As delivered, no modifications. Adjustments OK if nothing modified. Street tires with treadwear ratings > 140. Wear and tear replacements must be OEM equivalents. Spare tire & tools remain in car. (This class category is only for the relatively recent cars shown).

Despite predictions to the contrary, the weather last weekend was great. The weekend was virtually flawless. Thanks to the hard work and assistance by Page Obenshain, Dave Cook, and our ever dependable registrar, Amy Gustafson, among others, and the fact that everyone followed the rules and played nice, yours truly even got in some great track time.
Beginner and Intermediate drivers left with sore jaw muscles from grinning too much after seeing significant advances in their driving skills. That was due not only to their attitude and willingness to learn, but especially to the best instructors in all of PCA. My thanks to all of your for your dedication and contribution to our program.
Thanks to Jeff Holcomb and Reeves Import Motor Cars for their use of the tent at start/finish, and free bottled water for all. Carlos Debonis and Vortex for the great work at Tech. Executive Catering and the Snack Shack for the use of their dining room for meetings.
